EMS Service Leadership

It is the service leadership’s responsibility to ensure that all emergency vehicle operators receive high-quality training (from hire to retire). The service leadership needs to create an environment where safety is a priority and this is done with high-quality training, policies, and modeling excellent behaviors at all times—not just when “someone is watching.” Also, your service leadership should remain current with all laws and policies that pertain to driving emergency vehicles in your jurisdiction.
